History
Domaine Dussaillant Lehmann is a family vineyard that stands out for its significant foray into the world of sparkling wines and wines. It was Fernando Dussaillant Nielsen, driven by a special experience in France, who decided to undertake this project with great affection and dedication, always with the aim of transmitting and reviving the ancient traditions of French sparkling wines.
Located in the Maule Valley, this vineyard blends the essence of the terroir with the passion and dedication of the family, offering with every sip a French-style experience in the heart of the new world. Although Fernando Dussaillant Nielsen has passed away his legacy continues stronger than ever, just as he would have wished.
Vineyard
The lands of Dussaillant Lehmann are located near the Longaví River, in the eastern foothills of the southern Maule Valley. The place enjoys a cool climate and is surrounded by poplar trees, characteristic of the region. Volcanic soils with high organic content complete the setting.
The vineyard was planted in 2009 and currently covers approximately five hectares. The vines are pruned and managed following French protocols, and they are harvested with low yields to ensure the optimal health of the grapes and prioritize quality. Grape varieties planted: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Gewürztraminer.
