History
The philosophy of Viña López Pangue arises from the ancient tradition of the countryside, living with what the land provides and through one's own effort. Their motto, "Vinos de Aquí" (Wine from Here), drives them to ensure that every aspect of their work is carried out with elements from the place or its surroundings. In this way, they seek to produce unique wines that reflect and celebrate the territory of El Pangue and its people.

According to the stories, El Pangue was founded by the Spanish, who, after fleeing the Battle of Maipú on their way to Valparaíso, discovered that the port had already been taken by the patriots. Forced to escape into the mountains in the direction of what is now known as El Pangue and Colliguay, they colonized and cultivated the region. Cattle farming, charcoal production, and the search for gold, which was abundant in the area, attracted numerous adventurers.

It was not until 1985 that Félix López, the current owner, arrived at this place. The previous owner, Heriberto Erlwein, known as "don Toto," already advanced in age, decided to sell the property with a special condition: "You will take care of it for me." A promise they have fulfilled by generating a strong commitment to the place and its people, and by crafting unique wines: "Wines from Here".
