History
Casa Romero was born in 2009 as the dream of its owner, Raúl Romero, to pursue his passion for wine after retiring from the mining industry. During his career as an engineer, Raúl collaborated with various wineries in Chile, developing viticultural technologies and making trips to countries such as Italy, Finland, Switzerland, and France to acquire new knowledge and apply it in national wineries. These experiences strengthened his love for wine and inspired him to undertake his own project on a smaller scale, focused on offering top-quality products in a family-friendly environment.
To establish his winery, he chose the prestigious area of Casablanca due to the quality of its terroir and its favorable location for receiving visitors. Currently, his daughter Angélica Romero is in charge of the winery's operation and the development of new products, which have already received recognition.
Vineyard
Currently, Casa Romero does not have its own vineyards. Instead, they purchase grapes from small producers in the Casablanca, Maipo Costa, Maipo, and Aconcagua valleys.
