History
Luis Felipe Edwards is a 100% family-owned winery, founded in 1976 in the small valley of Puquillay Alto, in the heart of Colchagua, based on 60 hectares of vineyards dating back to the early 1900s. Today, it is one of Chile's leading exporters of premium bottled wine, with a presence in over 80 countries.

The vineyard properties of LFE encompass more than 2,000 hectares across diverse valleys in Chile. Here, the grapes benefit from the special microclimates found in different regions. The fields and plantations range from 900 meters above sea level in Colchagua to proximity to the Pacific Ocean at 2.5 kilometers in Leyda.

With over 40 years of dedicated work, the winemaking team led today by Nicolás Bizzarri and advised by Matt Thomson from New Zealand and Philippe Melka, a French-American winemaker from Napa Valley, has achieved remarkable consistency in the quality of their wines. This is reflected in the countless awards garnered from the most prestigious wine competitions worldwide, where they have also been recognized as one of the finest Chilean wineries.

Today, LFE remains a family enterprise, committed to innovation, sustainability, and biodiversity.

Planted varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, Riesling.

Atalaya - Santo Domingo DO, Leyda Valley
Only 2 km from the Pacific coast, a super-coastal location with a cool climate. Loamy to clay loam soils with marine terraces supported by sandstones and quartz. Great potential for producing high-quality grapes for cool-climate varieties. Acquired in 2018, it spans 140 hectares. Planted varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer.
