This is more expressive than the 2018, there is a sweet element on the nose but behind is a dark fruit core. The palate is dense, layered and textured - rich, rounded and plush without being heavy. There is an energy here, a vibrancy and an element of smoke and grilled meat and coffee. The oak is very well judged, giving a texture, weighty and rich and beneath that there are chalky tannins. So young - leave this for 4-5 years minimum.
