A leather note and black pepper and sense of sweetness. The palate has coffee and ripe dark fruit - the tannins are precise, fine and peppery. Quite dark prune fruits, juicy and without too much pyrazine. Good freshness through the palate. Balanced and a coffee note on the mineral laden finish.

It's wonderful to be back with the second edition of the Alistair Cooper MW Wine Guide. These have been challenging years for many of us, and many projects, including the wine guide, have been put on hold.
