Concha y Toro

Appealing nose - graphite and spice, reds fruits and gravel - intense and tightly wound. The palate has a sanguine note with ripe dark fruits, wonderfully judged fine tannins, a touch of mint and spice with layered textured clay like tannins. Powerful, seductive and with pin prick like tannins. Fine and very well managed extraction - blackberry, blackcurrant and earthy graphite spice. Needs another four years to settle.
