Polkura

A ripe nose with a smattering of earthy gravel and damp earth and a hint of cocoa nibs and chocolate. The palate is refined, powerful, the tannins are dusty and elegant - driven by a cool core of sleek refreshing acidity. Fresh, defined and with dark fruit and with vibrancy, energy and a sense of place and the finish is ripe, savoury and with a gravelly finish. Very accomplished.
