Viñateros de Raíz - La Viña del Señor

On the nose it is very aromatic and surprisingly fresh for a fortified wine with notes of candied chestnuts, liqueur, and a hint of spices. On the palate it is unctuous and enveloping displaying flavors of figs, hazelnuts, candied chestnuts, marzipan, caramel, ripe apricots, and raisins. An elegant wine in a very well-executed port style - excellently balanced. A great addition to the Chilean and Latin American wine scene.
