Concha y Toro

A wonderful blend of sweet and savoury on the nose, red fruit, dark cherry and smoked bacon. The palate is tightly coiled with tannins that are dense and compact like tightly coiled springs. Dark fruits and a smoked gamey touch - intense and still needs time. Dark fruits dominate the mid palate, the finish has a liquorice leafy note and whilst the wine is quite closed at the moment it will open up beautifully in time.
