A great balance of sweet fruit, forest fruit, cassis and an herbal dusty coffee note. The palate is packed full of fruit, sweeter on the palate than the nose suggests, subtle violet notes, cassis and a layered finish. Tightly wound voluptuous tannins. A savoury note as well and the finish shows some coffee and ripe red fruits.

It's wonderful to be back with the second edition of the Alistair Cooper MW Wine Guide.
