Leather notes, game, smoked bacon and hot stones. The palate has a sweetness to the fruit, a gravelly earthy note and a wonderful lick of earthy liquorice notes. Fresh and with such intensity and spice. Delicious with a grip and wet stone notes. A layered mouthwatering finish.

It's wonderful to be back with the second edition of the Alistair Cooper MW Wine Guide. These have been challenging years for many of us, and many projects, including the wine guide, have been put on hold.
